Our Story
Trident Analitics was born from a moment of heartbreak and determination. Our founder, Gakinya Elizabeth, witnessed firsthand the devastating losses that smallholder fish farmers faced due to poor pond monitoring and lack of access to real-time data.
In rural Kenya, where aquaculture represents hope for food security and economic empowerment, farmers were losing up to 30% of their harvest annually. The problem wasn't lack of dedication or skill—it was the absence of affordable technology that could provide the insights needed to make informed decisions.
Founded in 2024, Trident Analitics emerged as a solution-driven company combining cutting-edge AI technology with deep understanding of local farming practices. Our team of engineers, agriculturalists, and business experts came together with a shared vision: to democratize access to smart farming technology.
Today, we're proud to serve over 50,000 smallholder farmers across Kenya, with pilot programs in Kilifi, Lamu, and Kisumu. Our solar-powered IoT sensors, AI-driven mobile app, and integrated marketplace are transforming how fish farming is done in East Africa.
